The Blakmint Retainer Brush is a dual head cleaning brush made for retainers, clear aligners, Invisalign® trays, night guards and other removable dental appliances. The flat head cleans larger surfaces and the round head reaches the grooves and edges that a normal toothbrush can miss.
How do I clean my retainer with a brush?
Gently brush your retainer with lukewarm water, paying attention to the grooves and edges. Then soak it in Blakmint Liquid Retainer Cleaner and rinse before wearing. Brushing before soaking helps lift plaque and daily build up so the cleaner can work across the whole surface.
Can I just use my normal toothbrush to clean my retainer?
A standard toothbrush is not shaped for the small grooves, edges and curves of a retainer or aligner. The two brush heads on this retainer cleaning brush are designed to reach those areas, and the compact size gives you better control and precision.
